SOLO+ CLUB UPDATE - August and beyond...............
A small coach of 22 members went to Oxford in August on a cooler day! After coffee we were met by a guide (who was amazing) who showed us around the city, sharing with us many interesting facts.
The Committee is working behind the scenes on organising more events, our Annual Dinner Disco at Kingswood Golf and Country Club in January, the pantomime at Leatherhead at the end of December. A trip to Amberley Museum and a pub lunch, venue to be decided on. If any of these events appeals to you or any others that are in the events calendar then please give our chairperson a ring and she will give you more information about any of the above or the club in general. I was fortunate to book a space on the canal boat trip and it was a super fun day from start to finish!
We had tea and cake on board, which was great, and stopped at the pub for lunch. I was amazed it was put on at such a reasonable price.
