About Solo⁺

SOLO⁺ has approximately 140 members, aged 40+ who mostly live within a 10-mile radius of Reigate/Redhill.

The club is run on a non-profit making basis and overseen by a Committee elected each year by the membership. Events are mostly organised by members, so the variety reflects their interests. This means that you should have plenty of opportunities to do the things you enjoy with like-minded people. In addition, the Committee organises a few major events each year, such as a day trip across the channel, summer BBQ etc.

Most activities are organised to take place mainly in the Surrey area and we are also joined at some events by members of other social clubs.

Walks vary from the short stroll to more adventurous and longer trails, which will usually end up at a pub or sometimes at someone's home for tea, or you can just turn up and join in the after-walk get together.

Restaurant meals are a high priority and range from plush restaurants to local fish and chip nights; the variety is there to suit every personal preference and purse. Dinner Dances are held regularly at the Reigate Manor Hotel and parties are thrown into the programme for those who want to 'bop' or just get together and chat.

So don't sit at home without anything to do or anyone to do it with! See an item in the programme or put one in yourself and join with others for a pleasant afternoon or evening. Make friends and have fun - that's our philosophy.

Membership is £20.00 for the first six months and then £30.00 per year thereafter. Coffee evenings and pub evenings are arranged for members and for prospective new members to come along and meet us and for us to meet them.
